The Flintstones XXX parody by New Sensations - review by Airen Wolf

First of all I LOVE the Flintstones, as much for the sweetness of the love between Wilma and Fred as for the completely politically incorrect humor. It is a perfect snapshot of 1950s life complete with the seamy underbelly only partially concealed in the dialogue. Which is why I was smiling and happy to watch the Flintstones XXX parody. I mean what is more politically incorrect than a porn movie made from a children's cartoon?

This movie stars Peter O'tool as Fred, Hillary Scott as Wilma, Brooke Lee Adams as Betty, Anthony Rosano as Barney, Hayden Winters as Pebbles, Seth Gamble as Bam Bam, Dale Dabone as Tyler, Rod Fontana as Mr. Slate and Misty Stone as Slate's Assistant. The actors are beautiful and look real, they truly resemble the original cartoon cast but unfortunately I think the roles might have been a bit much for some of the actor's acting skill. Still they do give it their best and it was fun to watch them try to stay in character.

The movie opens much like the original cartoon, with Fred hard at work at the quarry. It's break time and he falls into a reverie wondering what is going on at home. In his imagination Wilma and Betty are rolling around in bed,licking and sucking as well as tribbing each other wildly. The scene is well shot and the ladies seem to be enjoying themselves. I kind of expect a bit of odd characterization since this is actually supposed to be Fred's day dream. The scene ends as the cartoon usually did with the end of the day whistle.

Fred returns home to find Tyler, a stranger, with his wife...well not WITH his wife, she is still Wilma! She explains that he is a friend and is helping her out. Pebbles wanders in and convinces her father that she needs the car. She is the perfect little Daddy's girl and has Fred twisted around her finger in no time. Barney and Betty come over to have some neighbor chat as Pebbles leaves.
Fred and Barney decide to do some impromptu yard work and overhear a conversation between Wilma and Betty that makes poor Fred wonder if Wilma is cheating with her new guy friend. Barney is concerned for his friend and tells Fred about an encounter between himself and Betty. Which leads to a sex scene between Barney and Betty that is pretty straight, exactly what you would expect from these two! Betty does show up with a whip and order Barney to get naked but c'mon you KNOW even our little cartoon Betty wore the pants in that family! The best part is Barney ejaculating, "Here comes another Bam Bam"!
Barney concludes his story to find Fred passed out with a huge erection. Poor Fred!

In the next scene Pebbles is practically panting in heat and talks Bam Bam into climbing into her bedroom for some teenage lovin'. I really liked this scene the best of the entire movie. It was very sweet and very hot all at the same time. Pebbles is GORGEOUS and so is Bam Bam. I loved the way Pebbles orders him around and he is all male at the same time. They have pretty normal porn sex with some oral and vaginal sex but it's all done very light hearted and seems to capture the teenage vibe without being creepy.

The next day at work Fred gets chewed out by Mr. Slate for his laziness. Mr. Slate's assistant walks in to the office and pronounces that she is ready to work harder as per his memo. The scene that follows is pretty hot but the excess of spitting was a real turn off. The scene features oral, and vaginal penetration ending in a money shot on Misty's butt.
We learn that it's Fred's birthday and no one seems to have remembered! After complaining a bit to Barney our hapless hero falls into yet another reverie about what might be happening at home between Wilma and Tyler. He pictures Wilma having oral and vaginal sex with Tyler ending with Tyler cumming on Wilma's face. He wakes to yet another horrible happening as a pterodactyl shits on his face! Not a great day at all. Dispirited Fred goes home to find that Wilma and Tyler, Mr. Slate's GAY personal assistant have planed a surprise birthday party for him! YAY!

Our Hero never gets to have any sex in the movie but presumably after the party he and Wilma have a little soiree of their own.

All in all this movie had the feel of a high production flick. The scenes were crisply lit and the camera angles were perfect. The audio is clear and easy to hear with no off camera sounds distracting from the movie. There is a total lack of smooth scene transitioning but this fits with the cartoon so I didn't find it too distracting. I loved the pithy comments some of the animal appliances made.

Included with the movie is a reel of bloopers and a bonus scene of Brooke Lee Adams and Mark Wood.

Parents be warned that this movie comes in a sleeve that heavily resembles a children's video. So much so that Sigel nearly put it on for our son before he realized it said XXX parody. You will want to put this one in a plain CD case or put it away, out of sight if you have young 'uns.

While the idea is cute the cover is too confusing since we have a toddler who is interested in watching Disney movies. Too many times this has been almost pulled out even though it is put away. The cover is simply too kid's show.
