The Lelo Ella, a beautiful smooth dildo, is ranked as everyone’s favorite G-Spot dildo. Perhaps my G-Spot is just finicky and doesn’t want me to appreciate Ella’s sweet curves, but she doesn’t work for me. I’ll explain why in a bit, but for right now let’s talk about her ergonomic design accompanied by her sanitary needs.

Ella is sleek and smooth, she’s made entirely out of silicone and rates a 10/10 on the Eden Safety scale. In order to sanitize her and make her happy you can boil her, throw her in the dishwasher, wash her with a 10% bleach solution, or use the Lelo Antibacterial Spray Toy Cleaner. It’s expensive, but Ella has expensive taste and loves the way it’s made just for her. She’s soft and supple, bending ever so slightly at your touch – which is good, because the curve is so intense already that if she was any firmer it may put too much pressure on ones G-Spot. She is seen as “small” in comparison to her counterparts, but at 7 inches long with a diameter of 1.25 inches she isn’t as tiny as one thinks. The bulbous part at one of her ends makes insertion difficult unless one is either a. really wet or b. using lube. If you’re using a lubricant please make sure you’re only using a water-based lubricant.

Why didn’t I like Ella? She never hit the right angle, no matter how many times I stopped and redirected her – she was a poor student and didn’t take criticism well. I tried numerous ways, I just found that the head was too big for me. I would love to have formed a lifelong relationship with her but it just wasn’t possible.
