Oh Ella Baby!

The Ella by Lelo is an absolutely divine double-ended g-spot toy. When using the flat g-spot end I've found it's easiest to use Ella in a rocking motion, and when using the larger tapered end I really enjoy thrusting with her. The double ends are really nice because the larger-tapered end works as more of a traditional dildo while the flat g-spot end is of course amazing for g-spot stimulation.

I have found that Ella works best for me when I'm using her alone. It's a little hard for my boyfriend to figure out how to manipulate Ella with the flat g-spot end inside of me and not hurt me, but he does a very good job with the larger tapered end.

Due to a lack of a flared base, I would not recommend using Ella anally because she could get lost inside of you. I would also take care to go slow with Ella when using her for the first time, her ends are slightly pointy and if you aren't used to them you could hurt yourself being too rough.

The Ella is made of 100% silicone, which rates a 10 on the material safety scale. She is incredibly velvety and luxurious feeling with no seams anywhere to interrupt the softness. The soft texture is one of my favorite things about Ella, she just feels so amazing on my skin that I can't stop touching her!

The smooth texture of Ella is fantastic for beginners or advanced users alike because of how luxurious it is. If you like something bumpy or raised I would suggest looking elsewhere because Ella is nothing but smooth curves.

Ella is very firm, but at her narrowest point under the flat g-spot end she does have quite a bit of flex. She has a slight smell, but doesn't taste like anything to me.

I absolutely love the design of Ella! She is ergonomically shaped to fit your hand and curve up into your g-spot, hitting all the right places. If you turn her around to use the larger tapered end inside of you the flat g-spot end becomes the perfect handle for thrusting with!


Ella has smooth curves along the top of her, while the underside has more defined edges. I think the variations in the curves on Ella are part of what makes her so sexy.


Ella is about 7 inches long with approximately 5 inches of insertable length. She is about 1 1/4 inches at her widest diameter making her a great toy for beginners or for anyone who likes an average girth.


Ella's design is somewhat discreet, but I think most people would recognize they were looking at a dildo. Since Ella has no vibrator and is very light I think she would be fantastic for travelling. She comes with a nice silk bag if you need to take up less space, or you can use the signature Lelo box to carry her in.

The only thing that was slightly lacking about Ella is the performance. I had a hard time applying enough pressure to hit my g-spot as firmly as I'd like because of the slight flex in Ella's neck. This honestly wasn't enough of a problem for me to even knock a star off of my rating. Although she doesn't firmly hit my g-spot, Ella definitely still hits it. My anatomy might be off slightly, and it's just my preference to use hard materials. Ella still gets 5 stars because I know she performs wonderfully for many other people.


If you're having issues with the flat g-spot end you can always flip Ella over and try at it with the larger tapered end. You essentially get two dildos in one, which is one of my favorite things about Ella.

My absolute favorite part about Ella is her velvety texture. I am in love with the silicone material that Lelo uses, no doubt about it! I love running her over my body and I've even sucked on her to turn my boyfriend on which is something I've never tried doing with a toy before. This beautiful silicone is just screaming to be licked and caressed!

My boyfriend really loves the black color I chose for Ella because he can see my juices all over her and it really turns him on. That might be something to consider when you're making your color choice.

Since Ella is made of 100% silicone you should never use her with silicone-based lubricants because you risk making her surface sticky or marring it. Water-based lubricants are the only lubes that Lelo suggests using with Ella.

Silicone is fairly easy to care for. Lelo recommends washing Ella before and after each use with an antibacterial soap and warm water, then rinsing with hot water. If you plan on sharing Ella and need to sterilize her you can do so using a 10% bleach solution, boiling for three minutes, or throwing her on the top rack of your dishwasher.

I've been storing my Ella in the silk pouch she came with, inside of the signature Lelo box I received. If you need to take up less space I would suggest storing Ella in just her silk pouch. You should never store your Ella with other silicone toys because if two silicone toys touch for a while it can destroy the material or melt them together.

Ella comes packaged in two boxes. The outer box is made of a black glossy cardboard material and says Lelo on the top in silver print. Both sides of the outer box give you more information about Ella. The underside of the box is white and has a picture of Ella printed on it.





The inner box is matte black with Lelo printed on the top in glossy black ink. This box is made of a very sturdy, cardboard type of material. It is well constructed, heavy, and would be absolutely perfect for gift giving since it's discreet!


Inside the box you find a plastic insert. The plastic is thick and durable and has a cut out for the Ella to rest in along with a couple of holes so you can easily remove the insert from the box. Ella rests perfectly in the cut out without any slipping or moving around.


Underneath the plastic insert you'll find a second option for storage: a beautiful black silk drawstring bag the perfect size for Ella without a bunch of extra space.


Along with the silk drawstring bag are several inserts. One insert is a little user manual for Ella that contains information about her size and material, how to care for her, tips for usage, and also contains information about Ella's stainless steel twin, Olga. The second insert is a 1-year warranty and 10-year quality guarantee from Lelo. Also included is a sample of Lelo's Personal Moisturizer. The personal moisturizer is a water-based lubricant that is safe for use with all Lelo toys. I haven't had a chance to try the personal moisturizer yet, but I'll include information about it in my follow up review.
