Smartballs - exerciser for vaginal muscles by Fun Factory - review by Opal

I've always wanted to try Ben Wa balls or other Kegel exercisers, but the idea of cold metal always turned me off. These elastomer balls are a great alternative!

The shaft that connects the two balls is stiff, which made me worry that I'd snap the balls apart as I inserted them. You really need to lubricate them well and be patient during insertion. Fun Factory doesn't recommend twisting either, which was my first instinct when I had trouble getting the second ball to penetrate. Again, plenty of lube and relaxation gets it done. This isn't a toy for spontaneous play!

Once inserted, the string is a bit uncomfortable at first. It's a little rough and feels rather dry against my skin, but once the inner balls start rattling around, I forget about the string completely...

I adore the way these subtly vibrate while I do my housework or work out. They're especially fun to dance with. I've been out to clubs while wearing these, and because there's no sound, I'm never self-conscious. The lower ball bumps against my G-spot, while the higher ball bumps softly against my cervix. I have an IUD, and I didn't find this to be uncomfortable at all - I actually like it a lot! The balls make me feel pleasantly full.

Removing the Smart Balls is much more pleasurable than inserting them. I love the look in my lover's eyes as he watches each ball softly pop out of my vagina. It's almost like a restraint in that you do need to remove them carefully, which I think heightens the anticipation.

These balls do more than just strengthen my PC muscles (and yes, I feel they have increased my squeeze-strength), they keep my vagina well toned and able to accept my lover's penis. He's kind of a big guy, and I've got a very busy job - we're sometimes reduced to semi-weekly sex. The Smart Balls help me to maintain a bit of stretch so that I don't experience pain when my lover and I are reunited.

I have not and will not use these balls anally. I think there's too great a risk for them to get too far gone. I suppose you could try just inserting one, but I can imagine that the little bridge between the two balls wouldn't be quite long enough to settle the first ball firmly. Better safe than sorry.

My lover really enjoys inserting these for me before we go out. The very idea that I'm getting stimulated while wearing them is enough to get him out on the dance floor (which is saying something!). He especially likes to have me sit on his lap or straddle one of his legs at the bar - he knows he's pushing them deeper, and he teases me by bouncing me on his leg.
