Camu Camu is a small evergreen tree that flourishes in the Amazon. The tree bears small fruits that are high in Vitamin C and are very prized by the native culture. It also has a high concentration of amino acids and flavonoids.

The generous, 9 ounce, bottle of body mist lotion is packaged in a plastic bag when it arrives on your doorstep. After removal and tossing the bag, you are free to use the pray nozzle on the top to douse your arm or body with this thin but creamy feeling lotion. Just remember, a little bit really goes a long way..we will NOT discuss how I found that one out!! Let's just say 20 minutes later my arms were completely worn out.

The lotion comes out as an oil but turns creamy when it starts to absorb into your skin. If you use a small amount, this will absorb very rapidly and you will an immediate softening of your skin. I did not notice any oily or greasy feeling after I figured out the right amount to spray per arm or leg.

The aroma of the Camu Camu is very...unique. I am not quite sure how to describe what it smelled like to me, but I will sure give it a try. I thought it smelled like an overly sweet, over ripe combination of a guava and mango with a faint hint of a very mild tangerine.

The aroma is very light and faint but does stay with your for a few hours. You can easily wash this off if you do it within a couple minutes of applying. If you wait until it has thoroughly penetrated your skin, it is too late. The smell was way too sweet, musky/melony/citrusy for my personal taste. I actually meant to grab the Blue Lotus one to go along with the rest of my products, but accidentally got this one.

I am gifting the remainder of this lotion to my daughter, I am sure she will appreciate the aroma more than I do. The smell is not irritating or overly strong and does dissipate from the air rapidly. It might be a great choice for those who are super sensitive to aromas.

I will add much more information to the follow up review. I am ordering the Blue Lotus body mist lotion, and will include the details from that infusion. I am sorry the facts are a bit thin on the Camu Camu, however it just does not work out for me due to the aroma. I already know I enjoy the aroma of the Blue Lotus and would be more forthcoming after using that product.

I am rating the product on the properties of the Body Mist Lotion, NOT the aroma of the Camu Camu.

I like the lotion and the long lasting characteristic of the aroma. I do not like the smell of the Camu Camu, however. I am ordering this lotion in the Blue Lotus line that I have been collecting.
