Dona body mist lotion - body moisturizer discontinued by System JO - review by tami

Dona body mist lotion in mangosteen scent is the yummy-iest smelling lotion I have seen for a long time. I mist it on right after my shower in the morning for a light scent that lasts until around lunch time. I towel dry my self then spray on the mist and rub it in, it only takes a few minutes. This is not a good lotion for extra dry skin there just is not enough moisturizer in it for very dry skin. There are no allergy concerns that I came across, the smell did not make my allergies go nuts and I did not get hives from applying it to my skin.

It is light and rubs into your skin quickly, it does not leave a sticky or tacky residue on your body. It is a little like spraying a mist of water over your skin then rubbing it in. It does kind of sit on your skin if you do not rub it in and it is just like lotion and turns the white-ish color as you rub and then is absorbed into the skin.

The smell is a sweet smell kind of like exotic fruit maybe. It is a pleasant smell not at all overwhelming or irritating. I did not taste it on purpose but after applying it I ended up and licked the tip of my finger while cooking dinner and YUCK! Oh dear me this tastes nasty, I do not advise trying to taste this and it says nothing about being edible.

The scent for me when I put it on is about 4:30am and around lunch time ( 10:00 am) I can still lightly smell the scent on my clothes but not on my skin. You have to use soap and water to wash this body mist off. It is okay for a mist but not if you need daily moisturizer.
