Dona body mist lotion - body moisturizer by System JO - review by carebear712

mmmmm I smell delicious!

This DONA acai body mist lotion is a great buy. So far I have this body mist lotion, the plumping lip balm, the body butter in acai, and the massage candle in mangosteen and I LOVE them all! I would highly recommend products from DONA by JO, and I plan to get many more myself!
-The scent is great and long lasting
-A little goes a long way
-Leaves skin soft and silky

I am in love with my DONA by JO body mist lotion! I purchased the acai scent, but can not wait to get more of the other scents, too. It smells absolutely wonderful and the scent last a long time as well. To me, it smells a lot like the Love Spell scent sold by Victoria Secret, but better!

This lotion is 8.5 fluid ounces (250ml). It is pretty thin with a consistency almost like water. A little goes a long way, so this bottle should last a long time. This is an aphrodisiac-infused body mist lotion. The bottle states it is paraban-free, cruelty-free, natural, and "petro. deriv. free" (I have no idea what that is!). The bottle also says this is step #3: "nourish". I was not even aware that there were steps prior to the purchase of this product. Then I received my DONA massage candle and it indicates that it is step 1: "relax". So, I decided to do some more research to see what the steps were. I tried to go to the website listed on the bottle,, but found that it did not work.

The instructions are: spray and rub on bare skin as often as needed. I like to apply it after I dry off after a shower. I have applied it before bed and had the fragrance still be apparent in the morning. It leaves skin so soft and smooth. It is very light and silky. This lotion gives your skin a nice glow with an almost shimmery appearance.

The ingredients are: purified water, caprylic capric glycerides, polyglycerol-6 dioleate, glyceryl caprylate caprate, propanediol, saccharide isomerate, passion fruit (passiflora edulis) seed oil, rice bran (oriza sativa) oil, acai (euterpe oleracea) pulp oil, babassu (orbignya oleifera) seed oil, phenoxyethanol, ethylhexylglycerin, euterpe oleracea (acai) fruit powder, fragrance. This body mist lotion is formulated by SYSTEM JO products.

Follow-up commentary
I still love this spray lotion, especially the smell!! I do notice that sometimes it leaves your skin feeling somewhat sticky, but I don't seem to notice this effect when using it right after a shower.
