Silky Mist

If you are looking for something to help the dry skin while having too busy of a schedule to rub lotion on yourself, this may be something to look in to. It's easy to use and does not take a lot of effort and leaves your skin soft and well scented. Perfect for any busy schedule.

Use

Dono body mist lotion is intended to moisturize your skin where ever you please buy a simple spray. It helps eliminate dry skin with out the hassle of thick, slimy lotions that just sit on top of your skin. It's very convenient for on the go, quick mornings, or even those who have problems that enable them to twist and turn to rub the thick lotion all over.

It does have a nice fruity/floral smell even though I assumed it would be 100% floral being the blue lotus, so it would be more for women to use. However, men can use it as well if they are OK with smelling like a fruit stand. It's acceptable for all ages.

Being an all natural product, unless you have a very uncommon allergy, this should not irritate your skin. I myself have sensitive skin and it does not bother me.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The body mist looks like a tinted water and sprays on like water. When you spray it on, it stays in place and does not run everywhere. If it does, you've sprayed on far too much. A little bit goes a long way here. Online most mists and lotions, you do not nee a whole glob or a ton of sprays. For my arms, I do about 3-4 sprays per arm to moisturize: Top and Bottom, Front and Back. Some with my legs.

For me, it does not feel sticky. It doesn't feel as smooth as baby powder on your skin, but it does still feel very soft and after a couple uses and quite velvety.

Being a spray cap, it is very easy to use and put on your skin. You have no worries of spills and pouring on too much.

Taste / Aroma

Taste? I would not suggest licking your skin. It does NOT taste well at all. Which is understandable since it is not mentioned as edible. I would suggest washing your hands after use if you plan on eating finger foods. This is a mist, not a hand lotion. Be sure to remember that. If you forget, you will be quickly reminded!

However, it does smell wonderful. It has a nice sweet fruit/floral scent that isn't over powering. If you wanted, you could wear it on its own, or you can still pair it with your favorite perfume. Once sprayed it does smell strongly enough to smell it from across the room. Though, it does wear down. Not off, but down to where you would have to be next to the person to smell it. Even with it strong or worn down, it still has the same smell and it's a great one.

Performance

The smell itself lasted a long time and I loved it. I only really need to apply once a day and I feel soft. You are to spray the mist on and lightly rub in to your skin and I suggest washing your hands after use if you plan on eating with your hands. Though, it may help those nail bitters! It does easily wash with soap and water though.

Even though the smell is great, my favorite thing about the product is how it feels and the convenience. I have a hard time finding time in the day to put lotion all over my body. And its just a pain to do so. With the mist, it takes little effort and just a quick rub and you're done. Simple as that. It fits perfectly for those busy schedules and it even fits in most purses.

Personal comments

After looking at my bottle, I noticed it stating "step #3 Nourish". So that interested me and I had to know more about these steps. I could not find it anywhere so turned to google. The Dona Body Mist is step 3 in an aphrodisiac infused ritual and that's all I could find. Which that is also stated on the bottle. I wanted to know more about these steps so I could do them myself. Even the manufacture site couldn't tell me. All else fails, turn to the forums. Sure enough, another contributor found it for me on a competitor site and this is what was found:

Step 1: Relax with the Bath Salts, Bath Milk, Sensual Chromotherapy, Arousing Bath Essence or Massage Candle.

Step 2: Cleanse with Body Polish, Body Wash, Body Foam, Shave Gel, and Lingerie Wash.

Step 3: Nourish your skin with Body Mist Lotion, Body Lotion, and Body Butter.

Step 4: Illuminate and glow with Linen Spray, Shimmer Spray, and Lip Balm.

Step 5: Engage the senses with Sensual Massage Lotion, Kissable Body Drizzle, Pheromone Perfume Gel, and to top it off - gently scented Rose Petals.

If you have enough time in your day to do it all, it sounds very relaxing! I for one don't think I could do it every day, but hope to every now and then!

Experience

I actually took this camping with me as well and I still loved it. It was easy to use and surprisingly didn't attract any more bugs than normal. Also, I needed a quick shave, so I sprayed my legs with the mist and dry shaved. Even though t was not as good as shaving cream, it surprisingly did not make my legs sting and bleed. Which usually does happen if not using a lot of water with my sensitive skin.
Follow-up commentary
I still love this product! And I still have plenty to use. It's easy and convenient, besides the taste it leaves on your hands.
