Abercrombie's CEO Mike Jeffries made it very clear that only cool, beautiful, popular, skinny people should be shopping in his stores. Not part of the cool crowd? He'd prefer you stay out.

So they cater to the asshole crowds of high school cliques it sounds like. The funny part is I have always found that the most amazing people were those who were not in the "in crowd." Those who were popular were constantly striving to conform to the in crowd mentality that they never seemed to really develop a true personality themselves. They were too worried about being like their friends and being liked to actually grow as a person. While this may not have been true for all, it was true for the vast majority at my school.
Any company that wants to promote that type of unhealthy sense of conformity can go fuck themselves.

Although I find his comments offensive I worry about the amount of publicity that they are getting from it. I truly hope that people do boycott them. It's not somewhere I would have ever shopped in the first place but I know a few people that would.
