Don’t act on this impulse

Bullets are great foreplay items and this is no exception. It’s vibrations probably won’t get the job done but they will at least help warm things up and there are some included patterns to keep things interesting.
Simple to use, quiet, versatile
Buzzy vibrations, weak, expensive

extremely useful review

The Impulse multifunction hyper bullet from California Exotics is really your standard bullet. It should only be used externally, however it can be placed inside a condom if you wanted to use it vaginally. Just do not use any bullets like these anally because the cord could break under stress and that would not be good.

The battery compartment is one of those flip open types so I would advise using this in any type of water setting.

Material / Texture

This is entirely made of plastic which ranks an 8 out of 10 on the Eden safety scale. It just feels like cheap plastic and it has no special PU coating to it. It’s completely smooth accept for the seam in the middle of the bullet.

I rarely use lubes with bullets but in case you do, all types of lubricants are compatible with plastic so there’s no problems there.

Design / Shape / Size

Bullets are small and therefore easy to hide and travel with. The bullet itself is about 2 ¼” long with a circumference of 3”. The length of the cord is 30” inches so the bullet has a decent reach.

The control pack is 4” long and 1 ½” wide so it fits nicely in the hand.

It’s beginner friendly but users of all types usually have a bullet on hand for their versatility.

Functions / Performance / Controls

This bullet has three buttons. The up arrow turns the toy and and increases the vibration while the down arrow does the opposite. Then there’s an “F” button which cycles through the five patterns:
1. Steady vibration;
2. Roller coaster pattern (low to high and back down);
3. Escalation (low to high);
4. Short-short-long pulsation pattern;
5. Medium pace pulsations.

It’s a fairly quiet bullet, I doubt anyone could hear it through a closed door but someone will hear it in the same room.

It runs on three AAA batteries which are not included. I recommend taking the batteries out before storage because the buttons can easily be pressed.

Care and Maintenance

To clean, just wipe down with a damp cloth with some soap. Toy wipes and cleaners can also do the trick.

Plastic toys can virtually be stored anywhere since it’s pretty difficult to damage the hard material.

From the moment I turned this bullet on I knew it wasn’t the one for me. The vibrations were very buzzy and not as strong as I was expecting for a toy that takes three batteries. Then I used it and it was just making me numb. The vibrations were too defused for me. I think if the bullet part was smaller, it would have worked out.

I can’t justify the price either but I was lucky enough to get it as a free gift with my order a while back. There are better and cheaper options available on this site so save your money and avoid this one.
Follow-up commentary
Ended up throwing this away because the cord broke. This is one of the more flimsy bullets I've gotten from this site and don't recommend it for its poor quality.
