Impulse multifunction hyper bullet - slim bullet discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by xMila

The Impulse multifunction hyper bullet by Cal Exotics is a nice addition to any toy collection. It is great for clitoral stimulation as well as any other erogenous zones. Insertion, either vaginally or anally, is not recommended. Even if it has a cord that you can use to pull it out I wouldn't risk loosing the bullet inside and having to go to the ER.

This toy is great for anyone from beginners to advanced users. The vibrations of the bullet are kind of buzzy, and the vibrations are moderate on the highest setting. So if you like really strong vibrations you might not enjoy this toy.

It can be used either solo or with a partner. I prefer to use it solo though, since the cord is not long enough to be used with a partner comfortably.

The hyper bullet is made of a smooth hard plastic that rates an 8 in the Eden safety scale. It is very safe to use and easy to clean. The toy only comes in a transparent purple color. Water, silicone, or oil based lubes are ok to use with this bullet since it is made of plastic. It doesn't have any odor or taste.

It is non-porous, hypoallergenic, and made of food-grade material. It is also phthalates and latex free.

This toy is composed of a bullet connected by a cord to a control box. Both are made of a transparent purple hard plastic and you can see the mechanisms inside. I spent about a minute just staring at the motor working inside the bullet, quite fascinating.



The bullet measures 3" in circumference. In the product page it says it measures 3" in length, but when I measured it, it was actually 2 1/2". The bullet also has a seam running around the middle.

The cord connecting the bullet to the control box seems pretty sturdy and well attached, but I wouldn't yank it anyways. I'm just paranoid about loosing toys inside. The length of the cord is 30".

The control box measures 4" x 1 1/2" x 1". On the front it has a numbered bar that lights up with the selected vibrations settings. It goes from 1 to 10. The patterns of the bullet are marked in roman numerals from X.I to X.V. They also light up when selected.

Below the vibration bar and pattern numbers you have three buttons. An up arrow, a down arrow, and an F for going through the patterns. On the bottom half of the control box you have a ridged texture for holding the control with ease if it gets slippery. It also has the Eden Fantays logo in white.

In the control box the up arrow turns the bullet on and increases the vibrations intensity. The down arrow decreases the intensity of the vibrations, and turns off the bullet. You can also turn the bullet off by holding the down arrow button for a few seconds if you have selected a pattern different than constant vibrations. It also remembers what pattern and vibration setting you had on in your previous session, which is a nice feature.

The vibrations go from 1 to 10, with 1 being the lowest and 10 the highest.

The patterns of the bullet are as follows:
X.I is a constant vibration.
X.II is slow escalation.
X.III is a fast escalation.
X.IV is a slow pulsation.
X.V is a fast pulsation.

The toy is not very loud, I doubt it could be heard on the other side of a closed door. If you decide to take the toy during travel it is advisable to take out the batteries to avoid having the bullet turn on inside your purse or bag.

Three AAA batteries are used for this toy. It is not waterproof, so do not take it with you into the shower or tub.

This toy is not waterproof, so be careful and don't submerge it in water. For cleaning it after you are done playing you can use your favorite toy cleaner or wipes. Make sure to pay close attention to the seam around the bullet when cleaning it.

Since the bullet is made of plastic you can use either water, silicone, or oil based lubes.

This toy is small and doesn't take much space. I store it inside a ziploc bag and in my toy box along with the other toys.

The packaging of this toy is very simple. It came in a clear plastic bag with the Eden Logo and the toy's name printed in the front. It is not good for storage and I just threw it away after I got the toy. The packaging is not discreet, since you can clearly see the toy inside, and there is no mistaking that it is a toy.

This toy is great, considering it was free with an order I placed some days ago, but if it hadn't been free I don't think I would have bought it. It is a little pricey considering its quality and vibration strength. There are probably some better bullets out there within the same price range. The other Eden bullet that you get free for signing up for the newsletter is much stronger than this one.

This bullet was my first toy with patterns and I loved going through them when I was playing with my new toy. I would start with just the constant vibrations, then go slowly through each pattern, it was an amazing feeling. Although the vibrations aren't too strong, they are good enough to get me off, since I'm not too demanding with the power of my toys. As long as they aren't weak I am content.
