And while we're resurrecting zombie threads, sex on camera is legal because of Miller v California, a case that resulted in porn being categorised as art, which is protected in the constitution by the freedom of speech bit (I assume, since I'm not American, I know dick about the constitution).
TBH I don't know why prostitution is illegal. Seems stuffy to me. It's legal here (Aus).
What about live art? You know, like at a museum or something? I'm not sure how you could convince the cops that your brothel is a museum, but it's worth a shot, I guess.
