This fairy packs a punch!

Wifey--I'd have given this 5 stars if I hadn't had 2 that have had problems in less than 6 months, but, I still LOVE the Mini Fairy! It's hands down my favorite vibrator. I love that it can be used with my partner or alone. I love that it has a dial control and not just a high/low switch like most wands. I am glad that it's not battery powered but I hate that the cord is so short. If you can't seem to find an egg or bullet vibrator that is strong enough, give this baby a try.

Use

Hubby-"Mini fairy? Yeah I was like, "That won't do for my needy woman." Sometimes it's good to be proven wrong. The little lady went nuts for it. I have tried this toy on my "boys" and the vibrations felt pretty good at certain angles and spots but I'm not really into vibrators for myself. After searching for a while we found this wand for the wife who wanted a progression vibe.

Wifey-This wand is AWESOME! I wanted something that was powerful like the Hitachi Wand, but I hated how it only had a high/low setting and no in between. Then I found the Mini Fairy. It has a dial control instead of just a high/low switch. You can start out at a lower vibration and work your way up to the good stuff.

Material / Texture

Hubby--The wand is made of plastic with a ribbed design on the head. I would say the texture is for all
levels.

Wifey-The packaging was nice and not covered in porn stars like some sex toys. It was just a pink box with a purple outline of a fairy on it. There is no noticeable odor to the wand and it is not porous. The wand is pink and white plastic with a white ribbed head. The head is soft, but firm, and not squishy. I don't think the ribs really do anything. I'm not sure what their purpose is honestly.

Hubby--Being a dude the pink was not for me but perfect for my lady. Being a mini the wand is discreet compared to other wands.

Wifey-"this is called the 'mini' fairy, but it's not small, so don't be fooled by the mini in the title. Though it is a lot smaller than the larger wands, it's still pretty big. But it's not too big that you can't use it while having sex. I don't use it much solo, but I definitely get tons of use during sex. Sometimes it's a little hard to find the right position, but you can, and it's worth experimenting until you get it right. The best way I've found is to be on top, either facing DH or in reverse cowgirl, or even doggie style.

Due to the power of this wand, I don't recommend it for beginners even though it has a dial control. But if you're looking for something more powerful and are scared of the big wands, give this one a try!"

Functions / Performance / Controls

Hubby--500 vibrations per minute! Think about that ladies and gents! My wife needs high performance and low-key toys. She gets that with this wand. This seems to be a perfect precursor to the Hitachi Wand. The Mini Fairy has a dial control easily manipulated when in use. The slow ascension to high speed is nice as my wife has complained about other vibrators. With this wand you're able to adjust the speed easily with a roll of your fingers. There are no clicks or variations, just speed.

Wifey--TThe "low" speed on the Mini Fairy is more like what the "high" would be on an egg vibrator. According to other sites online, this was supposed to be more powerful than the Hitachi, and while it might be RPM-wise, it doesn't seem to be more powerful to me. Because it's smaller, I prefer it hands down to a bigger wand.

My major complaint on it would be that the cord is way too short. I have to use it with an extension cord. I'd estimate the cord is about 4 feet long. You really need a good 6-10 foot power cord in my opinion. Another complaint I have is that I'm on my second Mini Fairy in about 6 months. I'm not sure the faults are actually Mini Fairy related or if they're related to weird electrical issues we have at our house. The first Mini Fairy I had the motor burned out on it in less than 2 months of use. I plugged it in and a spark flew from the socket and it was dead from then on. I contacted the seller (this was purchased from another site) and I was sent a replacement, which now seems to only run on one speed and there is no more variation to the speed. I'm not sure if it's stuck only vibrating at high or low or somewhere in between. I'm not sure that this is necessarily a fault of the Fairy or because our house has funny wiring. It still works and I still love it!! I actually wish it was stronger, which is why I ordered the full sized fairy (review on that to come!!).

Care and Maintenance

Wifey--Just make sure you leave this toy unplugged unless you're using to not burn the motor out or have anything funny go on electrically. Clean up on this is a breeze! Do not submerge it, but wash the head with soap and water. You may find you need to take a cotton swab to the creases where the ribbing is at the base.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Packaging

Wifey--There are no instructions on the packaging. It's a pink box with Asian writing on it and it says "Mini Fairy" with pictures of fairy silhouettes on it. I would not use it as a gift/storage box. It's nice that it's not a raunchy box and it's recyclable!
