The Dona Blue Lotus infused body butter is an excellent moisturizer for dry skin. As far as an aphrodisiac effect, I cannot vouch for this, neither my husband nor I had any reaction to back it up. I love the creaminess and ease of absorbtion, just do not use too much or it will take forever to rub in.

The texture and thickness is close to mayonnaise. The feeling left on your skin is just very soft and velvety, no greasy or oily residue that many body butters can leave behind. I love the softness, the light and refreshing aroma and the long lasting moisturizing effects. Thus body butter absorbs almost on impact, it really takes very little amount of rubbing to become fully absorbed and the moisturizing starts immediately as well.

The tub contains 5 ounces of body butter, which will last for a little while, but I am keeping the body butter for use on my dryer areas and using the lotion for the rest of my body. When I opened this container, I was a bit taken back on the little brown flecks in the butter, but it does not leave any flecks on your skin, neither can you feel them. This might be some of the plant extracts, but it does dissolve completely.

The aroma starts out very light and smells like pureed cucumbers. It is very subtle and changes to a light, lily of the valley aroma that will last on the skin for a couple of hours. I would recommend this fragrance more for women, it is very light but feminine. This aroma is very relaxing and pleasing to the senses. If you layer this with the other Blue Lotus products, the aroma will last for about 6-7 hours.

I used this a few time on my whole body and could not believe the softness that was left in its wake! My skin stayed soft for hours after using this and seems to be less apt to dry out between showers. I would not recommend this for use on babies or small children.

There have been a lot of reviews on this product and since I cannot expand on them, I am just adding my experience to the reviews. I have sensitive skin and had no reactions or rashes after using this body butter. That is enough for me to continue using this line of products!!

I also like the fact that the majority of the ingredients are natural and plant based. This makes me feel like I am really doing my skin some good.

The Blue Lotus aphrodisiac line has am amazing, light and refreshing aroma. I am finally getting my last link in the line with the perfume, and am really looking forward to smelling the full line up after it is layered. These are great products at a reasonable price.
