Dona body butter - body moisturizer by System JO - review by MrsandMrbunnysoffun

Keep rubbing my friend, keep rubbing; it works its way in, I promise.

A definite good buy, this lasts a very long time and I love the smell. I know I am repeating myself, but I can not say enough how much I love this body butter. If you use your discount or buy this full price it is worth it either way. Give this one a try.
Smells great, moisturizes well, lasts a long, long time.
If your skin is not dry it takes a bit of rubbing to massage in.

This, my friend, is a love-hate relationship. Dona Goji Berry Body Butter is a nice product used for moisturizing the skin. I would recommend this for people with extremely dry or aging skin. I have used moisturizers for most of my life, so I have fairly moist skin and it took a LOT of rubbing to get it in. My husband however (thanks for the help with the review) has super dry skin and it sucked it in like a sponge.

I do worry over allergic reactions to a lot of things, I get hives often if I'm not careful. In case of concerns, here are a list of ingredients:

Purified Water, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Oil, Caprylic Capric Triglycerides, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Saccharide Isomerate, Cetearyl Olivate, Cetyl Palmitate, Sorbitan Palmitate, Sorbitan Olivate, Cannabis Sativa )hemp) Seed Oil, Beeswax, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Olea Europeae (Olive) Fruit Oil, Passiflora Edulis (Passion Fruit) Seed Oil, Oriza Sativa (Rice) Bran Oil, Euterpe Oleracea (Acai) pulp Oil, Orbignya Oleifera (Babassu) Seed Oil, Maltodextrin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Beta Glucan, Panthenol, Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein, Allantoin, Aloe Barbadensis leaf Extract, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) seed oil, Laminaria Digitata (Algae) Extract, Theobroma graniflorum (Cupuacu) Butter, Xanthan Gum, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Fragrance.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Very thick like body butter should be, I noticed an almost whipped feel to it. I was able to pull a little out and make it stretch a long way. I like that about body butters; you should not need to glop it on for it to work.

Taste / Aroma

I am a huge fan of the Dona Goji berry scent. This was a little different than my lip balm, meaning it did not have as much of a mango scent to it. I would say it lasted a little over an hour and then faded away. I did not taste the lotion, since it is not flavored and I am not a fan of tasting lotion.
    • Light smell
    • Smells good

My mother (of all people) gave me this tub of body butter almost two weeks ago. I have used it in the morning every day since. I still have more than 3/4 of the tub left and as I mentioned above, I do not use large amounts of it at once. I am very pleased with the amount that I was given for the cost of the product and I love the way that the minimal amount used makes my skin feel amazing.

Personal comments

I love, love, love the smell and feel of this product!
Follow-up commentary
Almost to the bottom of my tub, I like this body butter so much. This is one the first things I reach for after showering. It's still a great amount for the price. If it is in stock it is worth the chance.
