You just know how to butter me up! (goji berry scent)

If you want to smell fresh and sexy, have dry skin or just want a replacement for your perfume, Dona Body Butter provides a great option!
Wonderful accurate smell, hydrates immediately, no residue or oil left behind!
Doesn't hydrate as long as it leaves you smelling nice!

extremely useful review

Dona Body Butter by System JO is a fantastic way to hydrate your skin and smell fantastic. Women are most likely going to be the ones to use this body butter because of its more floral and "feminine" scent, but for guys who do enjoy scented body butters, you may like this as well!

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Upon first opening the jar you will notice that it is thick and a pinkish-white color. Body butters are much thicker than lotions or creams but are a bit thinner than a balm. It is the consistency of a margarine which is still somewhat hardened from the fridge but softened up a bit from sitting out. Your fingers slide in easily, but it does not drip off once you dab it on or get it on your finger tips.

It rubs in quickly, absorbing and leaving no residue or sticky feeling. It is not oily and doesn't leave any type of glitter or shine. All you are left with is a beautiful scent and moisturized skin.

Taste / Aroma

This is not the type of body butter which should be eaten, so since it isn't edible I did not taste it. It does, however, smell fantastic. The body butters come in mangosteen, blue lotus, camu camu, goji berry, acai, or pomegranate. Mine came in goji berry and smelled just as I would've expected. It has a bit of a powder-like floral scent to it, and is exactly what I thought a "goji berry scented lotion would smell like".

In the jar it is a bit strong, but once applied to the skin it isn't as powerful. If you are prone to headaches you might not want to smell this inside of the jar, simply because of how floral it comes off as. It does last for quite a while after application. I could still smell it on my skin if I brought my arm up to my nose, 7 hours after my first application. Of course, over time the smell begins to fade, but when you first apply it you can smell it from about a foot away, and it smells almost like a light perfume. My husband likes the smell of this, and my daughter sometimes wears some around her neck!
    • Smells good
    • Strong smell

While the scent does last for about 7 hours or possibly more, you will need to reapply this a bit more often than that. I did need to reapply this every few hours, although I do a lot of work with my hands around the house, so I am constantly needing to reapply lotions anyway. I do not necessarily blame the product for this, though, because this is common. I did enjoy the fact that even though I didn't feel the body butter anymore, I could still smell it.

It makes a great perfume replacement, moisturizes your skin, leaves you feeling soft and smooth and has a lot of great scents to choose from!
