Sexy, smooth, and fragrant. The perfect combination!!!

This is easily one of the best products I have for my skin. Its scent is heavenly, and as someone who can't wear perfume, this is such a confidence booster!!! My dry, dry skin feels protected throughout the day, although I'm not sure how well it is going to help long term. Overall, I would seriously recommend this product to ladies looking for a scented skin lotion or those with normal skin who occasionally need a thirst quench.

When I opened the body butter, the heavenly scent filled my nostrils and brought a smile to my face. The Blue Lotus has a sweet and soft, feminine scent that is not overpowering but certainly noticeable. The smell did not remind me of perfume as most scented lotions do (Like for instance, what you would find at Bed Bath and Beyond or Victoria's Secret). Instead, it has the same warm type of fragrance you'd find in a candle. This was unexpected, and totally appreciated. Easily the best smelling lotion I have ever encountered.

The body butter appears thin compared to others I've used. It isn't flat or watery, but expands enough to smooth itself out just a little. This can be a deal breaker in products like this because it is often no more than lotion in a jar with an inflated price tag. When speaking of the Dona Body Butter however, this is certainly not the case!!! I quickly realized the smoothness is because of all the healthy oils it contains. It means that the body butter will be absorbed better into your skin!!!

I recommend using it immediately after a shower before you even dry yourself to seal in moisture. Using it throughout the day to spot-moisturize may not be feasible, considering its oily nature. It will rub off onto what the applied area comes into contact with and give your skin a shiny, greasy look if used this way. So I will recommend only using it throughout the day to apply small amounts to your neck/chest/etc as a perfume.

Its moisturizing properties are NOTICEABLE, but I am not sure how it fares in the long run.

However, at first, the nourishment felt saccharin; falsely positive. My skin felt healthier after one application. But, my skin is wicked, and the idea that my skin would be noticeably different with a single application of anything but water from the Fountain of Eternal Life, is just not possible. The healthy feel was due to the seal of oil and water the body butter had created. So while it felt like my skin itself felt this way, in reality it was just a surface coating. It washed off with my next shower. I wondered if the body butter was truly penetrating my skin. And having my luck with products, I had this gut feeling that it was doing no more than making me smell nice. Needing lotion on a daily basis to sustain any amount of physical comfort, I cannot use a product that is not actively helping my skin.

After 2 more days and 2 more full applications and using it on my hands and feet while I sleep, my skin is already feeling just a little better!!! It is not as itchy throughout the day for certain. I believe that this is due to that oil and water seal it leaves on the surface of my skin. I apply Unscented Cake Body Mousse immediately after my shower and then put this on top, and it seals it all in beautifully. It also acts as a barrier that protects my skin from environmental stimuli that tends to harm it, such as wind and smoke.

It has boosted my confidence tenfold!!! The scent is such a refreshing reprieve from what I had been using. It has already been complimented several times by friends, who wanted to know where they could buy the product for themselves. I feel sexier with just this effect alone!!! In the event that in the long run it proves to not be helping my skin, I will probably still apply it in the morning as a perfume for this reason.
Experience
As a 20 year old woman, my skin should not be as it is. It is obscenely dry and itchy. So much so, that grazing my arm has a sound similar to that of rubbing paper together. I have tried a wide variety of products to help correct this, but seeing as my skin is also highly sensitive, most lotions only aggravate my skin and make it break out. The only products that have historically given any noticeable affect to my skin in a purely positive manner is Vaseline Intense Healing Lotion, Unscented Cake Mousse, and Goldbond Ultimate Healing Lotion with Aloe. But most of these have a noticeable scent that is uh, (pardon if this seems rude), 'reminiscent of a grandmother'. Applying these products every day makes me feel... not so sexy. It is a curse I feel I will be fighting my entire life to break.

This product does make me feel sexy in terms of not smelling like an old woman and something I could apply before going out. There was no reaction to this product even with my highly sensitive skin which tends to hate anything fragrant, so I recommend it to ladies in a similar boat.

I will be posting a follow up after a month or two, to detail how it has actually affected my skin after some time of using it.
