The Interns by New Sensations - review by Sammi

The Interns, one of two Porn Club Selections for March, is from the New Sensations Sappho Series. It comes on DVD and is shot in HD, with a running time of 2 hours and 42 minutes. The picture is widescreen and looks crisp with no noticeable pixelization. Chapter stops are decent. The sound quality is also good, and the opening theme song is actually catchy.

This all-girl movie stars Samantha Ryan, Avy Scott, Michelle Lay, Charlie Laine, Sara Stone, Julia Ann and Zoe Britton, and also has Zoe Voss and Violet Monroe. It’s directed by Chloe Sampson and Eddie Powell. Extras include a bonus scene with lesbian action including toy use, dialog (dialog scenes from the movie without the sex), photo gallery, trailers, a web trailer, and company info.

The movie is divided into 12 scenes, 5 that are sex scenes and 7 that are dialogue and setup. There are 48 chapter stops overall, so you can jump right to the scene or section you desire.

The Interns tells the story of young women who are interns at the fashion magazine “Haute Couture” and their competition with each other to get ahead. These women don’t just compete in the boardroom or in front of the camera – they also compete with each other in bed and will sleep with who they need to in order to succeed.

Scene 1 – Samantha Ryan & Avy Scott
The first scene starts out in front of a fire, with Samantha and Avy drinking wine on the couch. They talk about fashion and when Avy goes to get her sketch Samantha “accidentally” pours wine on her shirt. She strips down to her panties and then the two kiss and get it on with oral, scissoring, and 69.

Scene 2 – Michelle Lay, Charlie Laine, & Sara Stone
After a stint in the boardroom with Julia Ann, a lingerie photo shoot ensues. The girls and their photographer get pretty aroused, and the three have a girl grope on the set couch.

Scene 3 – Julia Ann & Samantha Ryan
Julia Ann and Samantha have a chat about Samantha wanting to move up to a columnist position. Julia Ann has an assignment for her. She needs Samantha to teach her to be sexy so she can seduce her cheating husband. Samantha brings out some sexy clothes for Julia Ann to put on, which leads to the two of them having sex which includes oral love, fingering, and 69.

Scene 4 – Zoe Britton & Allie Haze
After a scene in the bathroom where Julia Ann overhears some bad gossip about Samantha, the movie cuts to Allie in her apartment. Zoe comes over with a bottle of champagne, and the two talk about getting to the top and how to beat Samantha at her own game. Allie feels bad about what they did, but Zoe convinces her otherwise. The two have sex with lots of kissing, oral, and fingering.

Scene 5 – Julia Ann & Zoe Britton
The next morning Julia Ann shows up at Zoe’s place. She knows Zoe wants Samantha’s promotion and she wants her discretion. Julia Ann agrees, but Zoe wants to know what the two have been doing and making Samantha scream. This leads to the two making out and having sex on Zoe’s couch, with lots of kissing, oral, and fingering.

The film ends with Samantha packing up her things from the office and calling her sick girlfriend to let her know she has the promotion and will do whatever it takes to get them through it.

The sets and clothing all look great, and the acting and dialogue are mostly convincingly done. The women are all lovely, the acting is decent, the chemistry is nice in all of the scenes, and the women seem to be really into each other. Overall, if you like girl/girl porn that has a plot, The Interns is a good one to check out.
