The Interns by New Sensations - review by Serendipity

The Interns is a girl on girl action flick directed by Chloe Sampson and Eddie Powell and is part of the Sappho Series for Studio New Sensations. This DVD would mostly appeal to women who appreciate a viable story line, sexy lingerie, a little bitchiness and lengthy but mostly quality vanilla sex between attractive women. Some may also appreciate the HD technology and Dolby Digital Sound along with a fairly healthy run time of 2 hours, 42 minutes.

The DVD arrived with minimal packaging. The front cover features the always beautiful Julia Ann kissing Samantha Ryan and hands strategically placed. The text below Samantha Ryan's pretty, naked ass reads The Interns - Can they handle the position? I'd sure like to see them try.

The back cover of the DVD is a montage of stills from the movie and a lot of information: the star's names, a synopsis of the story line and a listing of the special features which include other movie trailers, a photo gallery, full motion menus and a bonus scene with Ashlynn Brooke & Franziska Facella.

Scene 1 - Samantha Ryan and Avy Scott
Samantha Ryan works at Haute Couture magazine. Her friend Avy Scott has a new clothing line and is planning to feature it in competitor Glitter magazine. Samantha makes promises of a splashy layout if Avy goes with her magazine and then sets about seducing her to seal the deal. Avy has a hot, throaty voice and natural beauty. When Samantha was grinding away on Avy's thigh, I absolutely wanted to throw her off and jump on; likewise when Samantha received oral from her. If Avy is not a dyke, she totally has me fooled. Excellent long scene, realistic and completely yummy orgasms. This was my favorite scene.

Scene 2 - Sara Stone, Charlie Laine and Michelle Lay
Michelle Lay is an uber hard to land photographer and Charlie Laine and Sara Stone are fashion models. Charlie thinks she has already secured the magazine cover but little does she know. As is often the case in competitive business involving acting or modelling, the casting couch is where dreams are made or at least laid and Michelle Lay helps herself to a few handfuls (Sara Stone has the most beautiful, voluptuous breasts) and then some as both young women give in to her demands. This scene is not as luscious as the first but it has its moments and for me Sara is the focus of most of them. Again, this is an extremely long scene (more than 30 minutes) and I did fast forward here and there to get through it.

Scene 3 - Julia Ann & Samantha Ryan
Julia Ann or shall I say Miss Ann is fun as the cold as ice boss so it is awkward when she gets weak and divulges private information to her subordinate Samantha and Samantha starts the scene by topping her. This scene would have played out so much better with Julia Ann throwing Samantha down on the conference room table and showing her who was boss. I was disappointed.

Scene 4 - Zoe Britton and Allie Haze
The conniving reaches a pitch with Zoe Britton as the master manipulator. Allie Haze is her mostly unwilling conspirator and girlfriend and the two of them do some dirty work to bring down the competition. I absolutely thought this sex scene would not work for me; I wasn't initially attracted to either of these actresses and I was definitely put off by the two of them sucking champagne through fabric including a toe sucking scene. However, once they moved into the bedroom I was pleasantly surprised by the chemistry and sincerity displayed. The kisses were passionate and the sex was hot and playful. Delightful.

Scene 5 - Julia Ann and Zoe Britton
Will Julia Ann be successfully duped? Who will win the coveted spot of Intern? There is a final sex scene between Julia Ann and Zoe Britton. This is the Julia Ann I know and love. Zoe Britton has a mischievous glint in her eye that makes me want to spank her.

The story line was reminiscent of a Melrose Place episode sans men. There was plotting and manipulation with LA type beauty thrown in. The music was fantastic with catchy lyrics you don't usually see in an adult entertainment DVD and it definitely added to the appeal for the market audience of bisexual or femme appreciating women. I don't see men being as interested in this movie as all of the scenes are lengthy and without popshots and there is enough dialogue and plot in between for some to lose interest.

I enjoyed watching the DVD all the way through and was interested in the plot. There were definite moments to pause and pleasure ourselves and scenes I will be happy to go back to again and again.

My only real critique other than Julia Ann going soft was the ending. It comes out of left field and has you saying, "What?"

This is my favorite all-girl DVD in my collection. Thank you Edenfantasys! The camera work is fantastic with some great close ups and the music gets stuck in my head after watching, which I have to say is quite unusual for an adult DVD. Avy Scott and Zoe Britton are the standouts and my new crushes.
