The Interns by New Sensations - review by Mr. E

The Interns is a New Sensations film from their Sappho series. Here's a brief history lesson for those who don't know: Sappho was an Ancient Greek poet born on the island of Lesbos. That's fitting because this movie is a lesbian movie. Coincidence? I think not.

Although this is a porn flick featuring only girl/girl sex, it can be enjoyed by just about anyone who likes watching beautiful, hot, and sexy women getting it on with each other. The movie manages to execute a credible plot about the cut-throat world of fashion. It features interns at a fashion magazine who will do whatever it takes to fight their way to the top.

Scene 1: Samantha Ryan and Avy Scott

The movie begins with Samantha Ryan trying to convince Avy Scott to introduce her fall collection in Haute Couture, the magazine that Samantha interns for. She promises her a 16-page spread and a launch party. Avy has already decided to show it with Glitter, a competitor magazine. She wants to show Samantha a dress from her collection that isn’t quite finished and leaves the room for a minute to retrieve the dress. While Avy is out of the room, Samantha intentionally “spills” wine on her outfit. When Avy comes back in the room, Samantha removes her dress to clean the stain and notices that wine has spilled on her bra, too, and so she removes that as well. She then comes on to Avy and the two proceed to get hot and heavy on the couch.

There is a lot of lip smacking, smooching, and heavy breathing. The girls do a bit of snatch grinding, they 69 and finish with Avy riding Samantha’s face. There is some more slurpy kissing, and then Samantha asks if they have a deal to show Avy’s fall collection in the magazine and they shake on it.

This was a highly erotic and sexually charged scene. It was a great way to start the movie. Samantha Ryan is incredibly hot as a devious, manipulative little wench.

Scene 2: Michelle Lay, Charlie Laine, and Sara Stone

Michelle Lay plays Betty, a photographer, who shoots pictures of Charlie Laine and Sara Stone together. She takes advantage of the situation and pressures Charlie into a little more than modeling for the cover. The three of them got busy on the couch in their own little version of a love triangle. Unfortunately, this was the weakest scene in the movie. While it features the only threesome in the movie, the sex was just average and it went on far too long to be enjoyable. Also, I couldn’t get past the décor. We are to believe this is a high fashion magazine, but the couch was covered with a hideous collection of mismatched pillows…it’s like everyone brought their ugliest throw pillow from home to decorate the couch with.

Scene 3: Julia Ann and Samantha Ryan

This is a pretty hot scene in which Samantha is incredibly sexy as the younger confident female teaching her older boss how to be dominant in the bedroom. The two women are smoking hot together. They make a lot of eye contact and show a lot of chemistry together. I liked this scene a lot because assertive, confident women are super hot!

The couch in this scene is pretty noisy. Also, the volume seems to go in and out in this particular scene.

Scene 4: Allie Haze and Zoe Britton

Again, we have a confident and assertive woman. Zoe shows up at Allie’s apartment and takes a dominant position with Allie telling her to get on her knees. She then shoves her stockinged foot into Allie’s mouth and pours champagne down her leg and into Allie’s mouth.

The two women move to the bedroom and proceed to engage in various sexual positions. I really enjoyed this scene. It was incredibly hot and sexy!

Scene 5: Zoe Britton and Julia Ann

Once again, Zoe Britton is an aggressive woman who knows how to get exactly what she wants. When Julia Ann shows up at her apartment to let Zoe know she is being promoted, Zoe takes charge and demands sexual favors as well. This is another passion-filled scene with a lot of finger and mouth action. Hot! Hot! Hot!

DVD Features

The DVD starts with a Public Service Announcement by people in the adult film industry asking that you beware of unscrupulous websites that pirate the adult movies. We agree with the message, but it's kind of annoying that you cannot fast forward through this; you have to endure it every time you play the movie.

In the Special features menu there is a Dialogue feature. This allows you to watch the dialogue scenes in the movie while skipping most of the sex. This is kind of cool for anyone that wants their porn, without the porn. Alright, I’ll admit that I thought this was silly. But, I did sit through a bit of it.

The DVD also has a Bonus Scene. It is about 25 minutes long and features an intern getting it on with her boss’s very young daughter (unrelated to the movie); in this scene, the girls do bring out some toys and the two girls are very hot together. It is worth watching as the two ladies are very hot together.

The Photo Gallery features photos of the ladies from the movie; there is no music accompanying the pics. It takes about four minutes to play through the 50 pictures.

Personal Experience

At first, my wife and I were a little worried that we would have trouble getting through this all girl movie. Although there are absolutely no guys in the movie at all, we actually found ourselves enjoying it. We especially enjoyed watching the women grind their girly bits against each other and get into some hot scissor loving. The scenes were well-acted, the characters were all believable, and the sex was erotic.
