FIRST IMPRESSIONS:

I honestly thought this would be very similar to the last lesbian porno but was pleasantly surprised that this one was a step up! The Interns is a New Sensations Sappho Series porn movie directed by Chloe Sampson and Eddie Powell. Goes to show that one shouldn't entirely judge a so-called book by its cover.
I chose not to go into great detail with the actual sex as they are all pretty much the same girl on girl action. Without a strap-on or other toys, there's not a lot of variety to be had.

1st: Spanking, oral, grinding, 69, face sitting

Avy Scott and Samantha Ryan are looking over some designs while enjoying some wine. Avy believes her designs would be better off featuring in another fashion magazine, so Samantha makes her a massive promise to score the deal for herself. While Avy races off to retrieve her dress sketches, poor Samantha ‘accidentally' spills wine over herself. This gives her an excuse to strip off all clothes, bar her panties. Seems she isn't all that interested in the sketches now. The two of them start kissing and fondling each other on the sofa, making some rather loud smooching sounds.

I actually liked the way they dulled the sound of Avy talking as she placed her hand on Samantha's thigh. It points out how Samantha switches off while focusing on the stray hand.

Haute Couture Magazine: The scene jumps to magazine work where Julia Ann is basically putting Violet Monroe and Zoe Voss down for not working to her high standards. She plays a real bitch part as she threatens them with losing their jobs. Both Violet and Zoe leave the meeting together where they phone Charlie Laine about doing a layout in the magazine. They promise her something they have no right to offer, knowing that someone else would take the fall.

2nd: Threesome, grinding, spanking, oral, vaginal fingering, face sitting

Sara Stone and Charlie Laine are modeling lingerie for a photo shoot, in which Michelle Lay is the photographer. When the shoot is over, Sara is ignored while Michelle touches Charlie's breast and states how beautiful she is. I really enjoyed the way these two were with each other. They were sensual and had good chemistry after their session of running others down. They also had slightly larger stomachs than other girls, which I really admire. This was the only one that I didn't want to fast forward at any stage.

Julia arrives at Zoe's apartment ready to make a deal – a promotion for her silence over ‘work matters'. Haute Couture Magazine: Next we see Samantha packaging her office belongings when she decides to call her sick girlfriend. The camera gives us a glimpse of medication bottles sitting nearby as she asks Samantha to pick up more candles on the way home. The pills, power being shut off, plus the very limited view of the girlfriend kind of gives the impression she is seriously ill and that they have been struggling to keep up with bills – including medical costs.


Can these girls really handle the position??? I'll leave that one up to you!

The Interns comes in a standard grey DVD case and shrink wrapped. The front cover features a naked Samantha Ryan and Julia Ann in a passionate kissing embrace. It's a nice clear image and gets straight to the point on what you're about to view. The back cover shows small juicy shots of the sex scenes.

FEATURES & ACTORS:

This movie consists of one disc and sports numerous special features including Photo Gallery, Trailers, Digital Sound, Widescreen, No Region Coding, plus a bonus scene staring Ashlynn Brooke and Franziska Facella. The movie runs for 2hrs and 42mins.

EXPERIENCE:

Every scene seems to start with a ‘bitchy' girl attitude to it. But once the action starts, it seems to wash away that first nasty impression you receive. Personally, if I worked for Julia Ann, it wouldn't be long before I was telling her where to go and how to get there! My opinion of her did change some when it came time for her sex scene, where you learn she isn't always the hard arse she comes across as being at work. I did enjoy the scene between Allie and Zoe when they enjoyed licking bubbly from each other's delicious figures. I couldn't peel my eyes away from the screen. I appreciate porn that has both average and some larger figured girls (and guys for that matter). It spices things up and just shows we are all human with very different body shapes/figures. I certainly enjoy watching Zoe Britton work her magic. Her scenes certainly helped improved this porno. If my interpretation of the ending is correct, it's a rather sad note to end the movie on. But at the same time, it works very well left up in the air for the sequel to follow on.

I giving this DVD a rating of 3 stars.

Honestly, this isn't one I reach for because I don't want to watch the whole thing only to actually enjoy one scene on the whole DVD.
At first I was kind of interested to see the sequel, but I doubt I'd race out to buy it. Part of me is curious to see where it goes, but I'm not into the whole 'bitchy' female character.
One day it may find a new home, but for now it lives towards the end of my collection.
