The Interns by New Sensations - review by Laureenm1

The Sappho Series is written for women by women. According to New Sensations, the series offers an alternative in lesbian adult entertainment—premier, high budget, all-girl erotica. With Chloe Sampson as a director, you have a great series in hand.

The Cast:
The Interns is a high-end lesbian feature starring Julia Ann, Samantha Ryan, Sara Stone, Charlie Laine, Allie Haze, Zoe Britton, Avy Scott, Zoe Voss, Violet Monroe and Michelle Lay. The movie is directed by Eddie Powell and Chloe Sampson. All of the women were very good looking and quite good actresses.

The Plot:
The movie's plot follows Julia Ann, editor-in-chief of Haute Couture fashion magazine, as an icy woman who constantly tests the resolve and desire of her interns to succeed. Samantha (Ryan), one of the lucky girls to land the exclusive internship, will do anything to get ahead. Ruth (Zoe Britton), Samantha's main competition, sets out to use the naive Allie (Haze) to set Samantha up for a fall from grace. Little does Ruth know she has stepped on one too many toes, and sister interns Zoe (Voss) and Violet (Monroe) have it out for her. Who will break their heel and fall off the runway?

I think the plot was good. I was actually listening and not wanting to strangle the actresses. They did a pretty good job overall. Some of the scenes the ladies were very vocal, a little more then my tastes.

The set and editing:
The set was well done. I really like the sets used in the movie. The first scene was really sexy. They were classy and up to par with the high budget supposedly used to make the movie. The lighting and editing was good. The sound quality was good also.

Note: the DVD locks out the first couple minutes for a message from the Free Speech Coalition each time the disc is loaded before allowing access to the main menu. I was a little annoyed by this because you MUST listen to this every time.

I liked most of the scenes in the movie with the exception of the threesome scene. It was a little much for my tastes. The acting was not as great in this scene as the others. I think the movie does have appeal for women. There was a lot of plot in the movie, I actually listened in between scenes. There was passionate kissing in all scenes which was a turn on. I liked seeing a little foreplay. If you like girl on girl action, then you will like this movie. Every scene was done well and all in all a good film. The only downfall was there were no toys used in any on the scenes in the actual movie, only the bonus scene.

It's okay, and it's getting better. I guess this one is not in rotation too much, but I'll try it once more.
