CONTENT/GENRE/AUDIENCE:
New Sensations has a really unique and modern line of erotic films. The Interns is one of them from the Sappho Series. These films are written by women for women. It is directed by Eddie Powell and created in conjunction with Chloe Sampson. It has an all female cast, not even just for the sex scenes. They are: Julia Ann, Avy Scott, Michelle Lay, Samantha Ryan, Sara Stone, Charlie Laine, Zoe Britton, Allie Haze, Violet Monroe, Zoe Voss, and Chloe Sampson. The acting is pretty damn good. Julia did an excellent job with her role.

The Interns is an erotic film with a plot. A bunch of catty, backstabbing, gossiping interns are trying to get to the top in the fashion world. Really, in essence, it is a movie with sex. In my opinion, it is geared towards real lesbian couples and or females who like girl on girl action. It is pretty clear that it is not geared towards men who like girl on girl, although they could totally enjoy this film too. I found that it is a good one to watch between a hetero couple as well. You can expect all female scenes with lots of oral and tribbing. Do not expect any toys though. They are absent from this film, sadly.

DVD CAMERA WORK/FEATURES:
This film is shot in HD widescreen. For the most part the angles, lighting, and sound are good. There are a few exceptions though. It runs pretty long, 2 hours and 40 minutes!

- Photo Gallery/slide show: This is really well put together. I liked that the shots did not come straight from the film, but instead feature each girl.

The packaging is not discreet. It is a regular DVD case, though. The front has Julia Ann and Samantha Ryan on it, mostly naked. The back has graphic thumbs of the scenes. Even the side shows that it is a porn. It's not really important, but I thought it was interesting that the case is grey instead of the traditional black.

EXPERIENCE:

The beginning looks great! The catchy music and cute images really got me in the mood and made me forget this was an erotic film too. The film opens up with two of the characters discussion fashion and "the fall line"...

#1-**** (~27 min) Samantha Ryan & Avy Scott: Despite the beginning of it, this is probably my favorite or second favorite scene. I did finish to it, after all. Cheesily, one of the women pretends to spill wine on herself and strips so her clothing can be washed. She straddles the other woman as they kiss, grope, and grind. They have great chemistry and work well together. The orgasms seemed real for Avy Scott, of which she seems to also have a few. Unfortunately, I was a bit distracted at times by Sam's moaning. There is a lot of oral in this one, too much actually. Although very hot, especially when they trib together, the scene does seem to drag on.

Pros: Great opening scene, Avy's realism
Cons: Some annoying sounds, too long

#2-*** (~29 min) Michelle Lay, Charlie Laine, & Sara Stone : Two women pose (horribly, if I might add) for a pushy photographer (Michelle). To impress her, the two girls start to play with each other. Eventually, Michelle joins in after directing the action a bit. This scene has even more oral than the first! The three women do a good job of switching pleasing each other. They do some pretty interesting positions, but unfortunately, the camera work misses some of it. There is face sitting and tribbing in this scene. This scene also felt long and I got a bit bored at times. It does have a lot of orgasms though!

Pros: Three women!, large natural boobs, lots of orgasms
Cons: Camera work is off sometimes, not particularity turned on by all stars

#3-*** (~19 min) Julia Ann & Samantha Ryan: This is a huge scene in the film since it includes the two leading ladies. I found the set up for this scene to be a bit out of character for Julia's power hungry, dominating, and seemingly confident role. She says that her husband is cheating on her, and she wants the ultra sexy Samantha to teach her how to seduce her husband. Sam has her put on the fall lingerie and teases the viewer by first covering up Julia's amazing naughty bits. They eventually get to kissing, boob worship, lots of oral, and fingering. Frustratingly, the hottest part of the scene, where Julia is on all fours being fingered from behind, is completely unseen by the camera. In a way, this is another tease, but a horrible one this time! Besides some frustrating camera positions and noises, this was a pretty good scene.

Pros: Julia, lingerie, boob worship
Cons: Camera placement

#4-** (~33 min) Allie Haze & Zoe Britton: There is nothing horribly wrong with scene, but it just bored me compared to the others. On top of this, it is also the longest which made me want to reach for my remote. The two girls make out in what starts out as an interesting scene since they use champagne as a prop. Pouring it onto each other, they slowly allow the alcohol to enter their mouths. The rest of the scene did leave me disappointed though. The oral action was blocked, it moved slowly, and the lighting made it hard to see. This would be a good scene for teasing though.

Pros: Zoe!
Cons: Play back seemed to glitch?, lighting a bit dark

#5-***** (~28 min) Zoe Britton & Julia Ann : This is probably my favorite, especially since it takes my two favorite people from the film and puts them together. I won't spill the beans on the situation since I don't want to ruin the plot twist. The two ladies roughly make out and then give each other oral and fingerings. They are super hot together! There is some face sitting and backwards 68 which puts lovely Julia on display. This scene is long, like the others, but I did not even notice or mind for this one.

Pros: The stars, chemistry
Cons: NONE!

Overall, this film is well shot for the most part and has a good cast. The scenes got repetitive here and there, but not too horribly. I enjoyed them, but wish they were not so long. I was saddened by the lack of toys or strap-ons though! The ending is a total cliff hanger though! Let's hope for toys if there is a sequel!

I was going to get rid of this one but decided to keep it when I found out that my wish will be granted! They are making a sequel. Because the ending was left open, I can't wait to see the second one. I just hope they spice it up a bit and add some variety this time. I still recommend this porn highly.
