The Interns by New Sensations - review by Champagne and Benzedrine (Roland Hulme)

From the moment the kicking soundtrack of The Interns kicks in, you know you're in for a treat.

A kind of all-girl, x-rated homage to 'The Devil Wears Prada', the plot to this foxy fiction sees Samantha Ryan and other ambitious young hotties join the crew of a cutthroat fashion magazine - each then vying to knock of the competition to win the favor of ruthless Editor in Chief Julie Ann.

The Interns succeeds by pairing red-hot all-girl action with slickly professional production values and a stellar soundtrack that makes this DVD as smooth and pleasurable to watch as any of the glossy series on Fox or HBO aimed at a female audience. Despite the cliche of awful acting in porn, the leading ladies are also pretty convincing in their roles; perfectly manipulating each other to get the upper hand.

Another strong point is the realism of the all-girl sex. Although generally made for a male demographic (lesbian porn is ironically considered 'straight' in most circles) anybody who knows anything about what real girls get up to in bed will be pleased to see The Interns truly reveling in their ribold recreation.

I'm not normally a fan of all-girl porn; but the strong narrative and sheer eroticism of The Interns quickly slung it to the top of my 'to watch' list. It's wildly entertaining and intensely erotic - especially suited to couples of curious ladies.

My favorite scene? Let's just it involves champagne and leaves little to the imagination. Outstanding stuff.

I'm normally a positive reviewer - but even admitting that, it's tough to find anything I wasn't satisfied with about The Interns. It was just outstanding stuff. The only circumstances in which I wouldn't recommend it to somebody was if they simply didn't get off on all-girl erotica. Otherwise, I think you'd have to have a master's degree in cynicism not to find this film absurdly satisfying.
