The Interns by New Sensations - review by Mr. & Mrs. Peg

The Interns is a plot-driven Sapphic drama about a few interns trying to make it big in the fashion industry and a few of the bumps (and humps) they encounter along the way. This film has industry veterans such as Julia Ann playing alongside of young starlets like Allie Haze. It is well made and has a look and feel that is more television drama than porno. Most importantly, the sex in The Interns is hot, real and delicious.

The players in The Interns are both attractive and good actors. Because this film has such a strong plot line, there is a lot of dialogue in this movie. The fact that the actresses all handle their lines convincingly and with ease is both refreshing and keeps you interested in following the story. It's not that the story is more interesting than the sex. However, if a porno is going to have a plot I think it should be engaging and well-played. That is definitely the case here.

Julia Ann plays a very convincing bitch that is more insecure that she lets on in the boardroom. It is somewhat touching to see how she wistfully touches the young firm flesh of Samantha Ryan. When she presses her lips against Samantha's vulva, you almost get the sense that this is, in fact, her first time performing oral on another woman.

The sex scenes in this film are exceptional. They are not your typical “lesbian” scenes that are wedged into so many porn films. They are very convincing in their authenticity; the focus on giving pleasure and having orgasms seems very real. They are also very long. There were a number of times I thought the scene was ending when in truth it was just a change in position and who was in control. There are also no toys used in this film. Everything is tongues and fingers, which is more than enough to get everyone off. There is also no anal play other than a little rimming. You will find a playful ass-slap every now and again but that is about as kinky as it gets.

There are five scenes in this movie. Two really stood out for me. The first is between Julia Ann and Samantha Ryan. It is intimate, hot and displays a bit of chemistry between the two actresses. The other great scene in this film is with Allie Haze & Zoe Brittan. Personally, I thought this was the hottest on the DVD. I especially liked the use of champagne as a foreplay device. It made me want to open a bottle and whisk Mrs. Peg off to the bedroom. Zoe's eyes are incredibly intense while she is orally pleasuring Allie which also adds to the steaminess of this scene. There is grit and passion and lust and a bit of deceit. In all, that is a very hot combination!

Other scenes feature Samantha Ryan & Avy Scott; Michelle Lay, Charlie Laine, & Sara Stone; and Julia Ann & Zoe Brittan. Zoe Voss and Violet Monroe are also both in this film, although they have non-sex roles.

Runtime on this film is a very enjoyable and engaging 2 hours and 42 minutes.

However you will find a photo gallery and a dialogue reel in case you are interested in all of the talk and none of the sex (This was NEW to us!!). There is also a wicked hot bonus sex scene featuring Ashlynn Brooke and Franziska Facella. Fans of toys (everybody here!), shaved lady parts and / or white stocking will not want to miss this. I just want to know where they got the bunny vibe with the rotating beads that DIDN'T sound like a Kitchen Aid mixer!

Anxiosly waiting for the rest in the series. This is a quality porn with a great story line. When we interviewed the director in the Porn Club, we were told this was to be a serial porn. Can't wait to see more.
