The Interns by New Sensations - review by tim1724

The Interns is a feature film about a group of interns at a fashion magazine who are competing with each other for promotions. They're all willing to sleep their way to the top, which in this seemingly all-female company means a lot of lesbian action.

The production values on this film are great. The lighting and camera work are excellent, as is the editing. Audio quality is good, and music is used well. Sets, costumes, and makeup are all great, which is important in a film about the fashion industry. The title sequence is cute, and helps to make this feel like a TV show.

The performers are all beautiful and fun to watch in the sex scenes. The acting is good, too, with the well-written dialog being delivered in a believable manner. Pretty much all the non-sex aspects of the movie are perfect.

The sex scenes are the weakest part of the film, but they're certainly not bad. Too much of a good thing, maybe, as they're all a bit long (around 25-30 minutes each). If they'd been tightened up a bit during editing the movie could have had better pacing. The scenes are also a bit repetitive, given that no sex toys are used and the action is limited to oral sex, fingering, and tribbing. Nevertheless, the action is hot and the camera angles are great, so the scenes are definitely enjoyable.

Scene 1 had some very cute performers, with great breasts. The oral sex was hot, but the repeated grunting noises were not. The threesome in scene 2 was a bit awkward, but that's not unusual. I was a bit disappointed that the dominance themes leading up to scene 3 didn't carry into the actual sex scene. Scene 4 was my favorite, with some great chemistry between the performers. (It doesn't hurt that I have a bit of a crush on Allie Haze!) There was some really interesting camera work in this scene, and unlike the others it didn't feel too long. The fifth scene also has some good chemistry, with both actresses staying in character throughout the scene, even working in some good dialog.

Extras

There's a good bonus scene (about 25 minutes) with a nice lead-in story (about "tutoring" the boss's daughter). A nice selection of toys are used in the scene, which is a nice change from the scenes in the feature. The younger woman had some great orgasms, which is always nice to see.

Other features include the standard scene selection menu, trailers, and photo gallery. A cool option is ability to watch the story scenes without the sex scenes. This would normally be silly in porn, but the plot in this movie is good enough to make this option a good idea in this case.

As with many mainstream "all-girl" films I found the sex scenes a bit repetitive, due to the limited selection of sexual activities, but they were still pretty hot. (I do have to admit that I fast-forwarded through parts of some of them, though.) All other aspects of the film were amazing, and I was happy to see that the story was set up for a sequel, as this film really deserves it.
