The Interns is a XXX porno flick with an all-female cast. Set in the offices of the prestigious Haute Couture magazine, it documents the various flings between young interns and the big boss. I expected this film to be more kinky, with the boss acting as a domineering bitch during sexual acts. Really, any kink in it is very light. The boss has to be coached and coaxed into bringing her dominant side to the bedroom. The sex is also light, featuring many performances in which I didn't believe the ladies were really getting off. The only parts I found redeeming in this film were some of the soft core make-out scenes in which the camera slowly pans over closeups of undulating flesh.

This film might be good for those who aren't into watching real lesbian sex. It might be fun for voyeurs who just want to watch Hollywood beautiful-style women touch each other's naughty bits. It also could be fun to just have running in the background for some ambient visuals. Scenes include duos and a threesome performing manual sex, oral sex, 69, titty sucking, thigh humping, finger fucking, face-sitting, and more. There are both young and middle-age women in this film, all of whom are Caucasian. There's also a bonus solo scene featuring some sexy white stockings.

There's quite a lot of storyline and acting scenes in this movie, none of which are particularly good. Having spent so much time establishing that this is Haute Couture magazine, I found myself bored and wishing that the performers' clothes and hairdos reflected a more haute couture aesthetic. That would have made it more entertaining.

Some of the sex positions used by the ladies were very reminiscent of hetero sex. I have a hunch that they may have enjoyed themselves more with the use of some thigh harnesses or strap-ons. I didn't get a sense of that luscious female sexual energy building in the scenes, just performance and show. And honestly, I think these ladies would have appreciated a big silicone boner thrusting between their legs.

Usually, the reason I watch porn is to get turned on. With this I only got sexual enjoyment when watching it while I was already turned on. Really, I prefer queer sex that is more gritty, kinky, and real. I was not impressed with this film.

My favorite scene was when Zoe Britton and Allie Haze are pouring champagne over each other's bodies and then licking it off. It had chemistry and sensuality that the rest of the film lacked.

So I gave The Interns another shot today. The majority of it still did nothing for me. The sex still seemed like too much of a performance overall. I did enjoy the beginning of Julia Ann & Samantha Ryan's scene, before they got into the actual sex. Also I honestly got something out of watching Allie Haze and Zoe Britton's time together. Theirs was the only scene that rang sensual and true to me. That said, I don't believe I'll be giving this film any third chances.
